As of January 1, 2023: 
Glide Rec will be joining Umpqua Valley Cal Ripken (UVCR) in playing into the UVCR schedule.  As a result, Glide Rec will adhere to UVCR rules and age requirements.  This partnership with UVCR will allow players to be scheduled into games with a larger pool of teams, allowing these athletes more variety in the level of play and the opportunity to 'try-out' for any applicable All-Star team.  Glide Rec will retain the autonomy to coordinate coaches, uniforms and fees.

With this change, the majority of games will be scheduled and played at Gaddis Park.  Some games may be played in the out-lying areas, including Glide, Myrtle Creek, Glendale, Drain and Sutherlin/Oakland.  Glide Rec will work with UVCR in coordinating the game schedule to limit any weeknight games to Gaddis Park and reserving Saturday games for out-lying areas.

In restructuring our baseball/softball program, we may experience some unforeseen circumstances along the way.  Glide Rec will do their best to keep every parent/player up to date on any new information or change in a timely manner.

If you have already registered for baseball/softball through UVCR, UVCR will be issuing refunds so that you can then register through Glide Rec to play on a Glide team.  If you would prefer to have your player on a Roseburg team, you may register through UVCR.
